Innocence

To listen to the swag of a falling dry leaf
Or to be amused by the chirps and splashes in a birdbath
Or to taste the tears and mascara on a lover’s cheek
Or to smell the peaceful October sky,
Or to become it.

Musings after watching the movie 'The Shape Of Water'

We always imagine God in His overwhelming grandeur – all powerful, incomprehensible, and distant.
But when he decides to reach out to us in all his humility – stripped down, gullible, and human; descended to our earthly domain to live amongst us, for us to understand him and comprehend his purpose; we are so misled by our misconceptions and so caught up in our chase that we remain oblivious to his subtle touch and his unrushed presence.
What a tragedy!
