Basked in the moonlight,
and drunk on starlit tales,
a dreamy waterlily bud
drifts in muddy waters.
The first ray of sunlight
storms through its pellucid doors,
striking deep into its heart,
and igniting within its dome
a forgotten fragrance.
Teased by the intoxicating air
and seduced by the effervescent mist,
the forces of nature
weave a tale of romance.
The lily
bares its spirit & soul
to the glowing embers of the sun.
Love blossoms.
